What's With The Use Of Loosing?

Now come on, you guys all seem to be a fairly literate bunch, why is it in so many threads I see people using "Loosing" when they clearing mean "Losing"?

My friends are losing their hair, they are also in need of loosing the seams on their pantaloons as am I, I can only think of one other good example of the word, the Binding and loosing power of St Peter. I loosen my belt, I have set loose my wrath upon the world, I loosely tried to be humorous in this thread. I love Lucy, then there is Loosy Goosey, I beleive thats what Lil Red is referred to when she starts snorting the ol' kickapoo joy juice, alas, I digress, loosing was the topic was it not?

Laudate_Dominum

Dude, that was once one of my habitual typos and when I see it I cringe. :twitch:

I want to find some of my posts from 2004/2005 so I can laugh and cry at the same time. Now I make typos and cr[s][/s]ap sentences FOR TEH LULZ, so it's all good.
