Baby Due

Our daughter's due date is this Thursday, February 25! We're so very excited to be meeting our little girl soon, praise God!

Please, keep us in your prayers, that everything would go well. I'm not able to have an epidural due to a lower than normal platelet count (I'm at about 77,000 and they require a count of 100,000 for the epidural), but am going to try for a natural birth. I'm pretty nervous about this, as it was not my initial plan, but would much rather avoid a c-section if I can manage it.

Please pray that it's not as painful as I'm imagining it will be, and that whatever pain there is to endure, that I would offer it all to God and embrace it as a chance to bring myself closer to Christ.

Please pray that our daughter and I come away from this labor and delivery as healthy as one could hope to be.


More Praise!: We closed on our first home yesterday! It took a long time to get here, but I have no doubt that prayers were heard, and that we let God guide this decision for us. We'll be moving ourselves in bit by bit, and thankfully our apartment's lease isn't up until March 31, which will give us time to take care of things and still maintain a calm and happy environment for our children.
