rhetoricfemme
Hi, If you could, please pray for my nephews. The oldest, Andrew, is 21 and living on his own in a bad part of town. His roommate bailed on him months ago and his mother has been doing all she can to help him meet rent and utilities, and even helped him find a better paying job. His lease is up soon, and they're trying very hard to move him into a safer part of town. His apartment has been broken into in the past, and it's just not a safe area to live in. Please pray for my nephew's safety and provision, and that he would not be too proud to come home if that would be the thing to help him the most during this time. My 7 year old nephew, Zaky, has been having strange attachment issues and he's apparently begun to hoard. If my sister so much as picks up gum wrappers or a soda can from his room, he gets upset and asks for them back, claiming that his memories are in those things, and he does not want them to go away. My sister tried clearing a space in his room so he could play a new dance game, and he later came out of his room sobbing, asking his mother to get rid of the game. When she got to his room to take the game, he had put every single thing back where it was, right down to laying paper where it had been on his floor. He notices details to a T, and if they have anything to do with his world, changing those details upsets him. We're thinking it may have to do with people he cares about coming into and out of his life, such as his grandfather passing away, his big brother moving out, and then my husband and myself moving far away. Please pray that my sister would get Zaky some help so they can figure out what is causing him so much strange stress. My youngest nephew, Thomas, is about two months old. I've yet to meet him, but he seems like the sweetest little man! Praise to God for bringing him safely into this world, and for helping my sister to become the mother that she never thought she'd get to be! Please keep Thomas in your prayers that he remains healthy and happy. Specifically, please pray for him to not have any intestinal problems. I forget what it is called, but several of my nieces and nephews, as well as some of my sisters and our father, all experienced stomach blockage and intestinal problems as infants. Everyone recovered, thankfully, but not without going through much pain, stress, and surgery. Please pray that that Thomas does not inherit this problem. Below is a prayer request from a friend, whose mother has been going through some tough times. Please keep them in your prayers, that they would rely on God throughout all this, and be there for one another.
I just heard that my mom's home was broken into and robbed. I'm beside myself with anger and sadness and helplessness. My mom has had a tough go of it in life and just cannot ever seem to catch a break. She has a strong faith in God and always does her best to remain positive. But I can hear it in her voice that she is scared and tired. Tired of the fight. Please pray for my mom. Please pray that God eases her earthly burden and gives her peace and strength. Thank you so much.
Thank you all so much for your prayers, it means the world to me!
