Reflections Of The Holy Trinity

To some limited degree everything God created tells us something about Himself. And He has even designed many things, perhaps innumberable, based on the Divine Nature He has graciously revealed to us as One in Three. God has woven a replica of His Nature into the most important things of creation as well as His Divine Revelation, the Deeds and Words he has wrought and written in history. And the reality of some of the highest things in creation as well as the Faith are penetrated, simply by penetrating the order, distinction, relationship, procession of the Three Persons, Father-Son-Spirit, who is God.

Yet did God create all things as a reflection of the Three in One, which He Is? Maybe, perhaps we simply cannot see the proper order, distinction, relative opposition, procession and oneness in all things. Perhaps our limitations as finite human persons hinders us. Perhaps the selfish self-centeredness of our natures thwart us. Perhaps our personal sins and errors blind us. Perhaps our lose of original integrity with all things effected as a consequence of Adam's sin; the disruption in the connectedness we are suppose to have with all things as they are ordered and ascend to God through us, the summit of His creation, is what holds us back even in spite of Revelation. Or maybe some things reflect an attribute of God, or other supernatural truths.

In any case the truth of our fallen, sinful, and limited human natures does not modify reality as God designed it. And God has revealed many things. And God has infused us with virtues, to penetrate the deeps things. So here is a speculative list of possible reflections of the Holy Trinity I have come across, without of course qualifying/explaining why, because that would be too much work.

One God: Father, Son, Spirit

One Deposit of Faith (One Divine Revelation): Tradition, Scripture, Magisterium
One Human Person: soul, body, spirit
One Soul: will, intellect, act
One Family: father, mother, children
One natural lineage: Adam, Eve, descendents
One supernatural lineage: Jesus, Mary, children of God
One Ordination: bishop, priest, deacon
One Rite of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist
One State of Grace: love, faith, hope
One Great Commandment, love of: God, neighbor, self
One Moral Sexual Act: unitive, marital, procreative
One Atom: proton, neutron, electron
One Material Creation: space, time, energy
One Age: past, present, future
Spiritual Health: prayer, self-denial, works of mercy
Physical Health: sleep, nutrition, exercise
Spiritual Maturation: purgative, illuminative, unitive
Physical Life: birth, maturation, death
One Paschal Mystery: Passion/Death, Resurrection, Ascension of Jesus.

And I know there are many more from books written by Saints, and personal insights of Christians. Maybe someone could add some more?
