I forgot to add "French." I made one French dish that was out of this world! And I love bold meat sauces with depth and wine! [/quote] No. Greek, Lebanese, Turkish, Israeli, Moroccan. MIKolbe
Thai- spicy with flavor..tangy...sometimes sweet. great seafood, great soups (tom yum kai is a spicy lemongrass shrimp tomato based soup)...excellent noodles and a wide variety of noodles... Pad Thai is a popular noodle dish that is a little sweet and is garnished with crushed peanuts and cliantro. it is just fun food...many dishes are family style..making for a fun experience all the way around
Era Might
I like most anything with rice and beans. Italian food is probably the one food I can eat pretty much everything they cook. Otherwise I can be finicky about food (I don't eat Mayonnaise, Mustard, etc.). I like some Chinese food but mostly just pork fried rice and the meats. Otherwise, I haven't tasted much of the world's fare. I've never had Greek food or Russian food or Indian food, and I don't think I'd be very daring to try them. Archaeology cat
In no particular order: Italian, Indian, Thai (though haven't had it in ages), Chinese, Mexican, British, and Gambian. Oh, and German. Edited February 16, 2011 by Archaeology cat

cmotherofpirl
I tend not to think of foods in categories , just good, great or its own food group, so I really can't pick one particular style. How can you compare a Cambodican wontons to greek humus to italian sweet pepper soup or a polish south side slope sandwichor hungarian eggplant paremesan or chinese pineapple chicken?
