Brother Adam
Speeding Ticket: $100 Cost of phone call to city's top laywers that you used to work for: $13 Knowing that somewhere the chief of police is getting his ear full: Priceless. Some things money can't buy. For everything else, there's mastercard. Accepted at corrupt city courthouses worldwide.

Iacobus
Dont move to Byron. 10 cops, 3000 people. EVERYONE, going over 3MPH the limit, gets a ticket.
Thy Geekdom Come
If you challenge it, the police officer will usually be too busy to show up and testify, then they give him one more chance on a later trial date and if he doesn't show, charges are dropped. Therefore, I would challenge it.

Brother Adam
I don't have any other choice than to put it on a credit card. Short of selling my tv. 3am story is along one. long story short, I was riding my bike home from my fiance's (at the time) and headlights appeared out of no where and started following me. I rode as fast as I could through a feild and heard someone shouting. I didn't look back. I got home and was in bed for over an hour when my stepdad woke me up and said the police were looking for me. They told me they had told me to stop on my bike. I said they needed to have sirens or lights going if they wanted me to stop. They searched me in front of the neighborhood and put me in the car (there were 5 cars). When he couldn't find a dang thing on me he got frustrated and wrote me 2 $100 bike violation tickets. I was working for a major law firm at the time and personally knew 2 of the circuit court judges. So I had the tickets torn up.
