Prayers For Alena And Kristine

Please keep sisters[url="http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/alenamarek"]Alena and Kristine[/url] in your prayers. Alena is 10 years old, and battling Rhabdomyosarcoma, while her little sister Kristine has a disorder that affects her kidneys, also giving her UTIs much of the time. Both girls are in and out of the hospital very frequently. Their parents are doing everything they can to keep on top of their daughter's illnesses and work with the hospital, as well as organizing fundraisers and constantly working in order to pay medical bills. They are also in the middle of the application process that would allow them to take their children on a healing pilgrimage to Lourdes.

Please pray for this family, that their daughters would be healed and find comfort. Please pray that they would continue to rely on God during what has to be the toughest time of their lives. While their father is usually the one who updates their Caring Bridge, Alena often writes for herself, and she is such an inspiration, such a positive little girl.
