I find it especially frustrating to hear about orthodox priests being sent off to another parish or something by their liberal bishop because what they are doing and saying is in line with church teaching. I've been asking the intercession of St. Catherine of Siena who humbly got the pope to move back to Rome to pray for our bishops, as well as the intercession of the apostles. [/quote] I've been living in a very good diocese for the past several years. But right now, I have to spend time with family in a diocese that is not doing so well. And the more that goes on, the more it makes sense to me, how people say that the same sort of people who would make good fathers would make good priests. It's all about who is leading the family. And I guess in some ways, or at least some people really never grow up. Because when the Bishop is all wishy-washy, the diocese tends to get a bit unruly, like children would. But it has taught me to be so very greatful for the priests who are orthodox and stick to it, despite the unruly-ness.
