A Story

I heard this story on E.W.T.N. the other month, I will do my best to say it as it was told.

A little boy named Jimmy used to go to and from work everyday. A Catholic Church was on his way to and from his travel.

Well one day he decided to go into the Catholic Church on his way to work. It was a short visit all he did was came in, knelt down, and said, "Hello Jesus it's me Jimmy."

As time went on once a day visits turned into four than ten, until it got up to a very high amount. Well the parish priest took notice of this and talked to the boy, thinking he was abusing the Church as a short cut but found out he was making visits to Jesus in the Tabernacle.

He told the priest what he would do, how he would come in and kneel and say "Hello Jesus it's me Jimmy". Then go on his daily duties. If he passed the Church he would always pay a quick visit.

Well one day little Jimmy was walking doing his job, but this day he got hit by a car. The Emergancy room called Jimmy's parents and told them to come fast as well as the priest.

The whole family showed up for little Jimmy. They were asked to leave during his confession, but after this were allowed back in his room.

After all had gathered into the room, the priest got out the Sacred Host, and as he went to put it on Jimmy's tounge a distinct voice came from the Host saying, "Hello Jimmy it's Me Jesus."

Our Lord shows His True Presence in so many ways. So sad so many miss out!

God Bless
Jason

I heard a similar story from Fr. Andrew Apostoli when he spoke at Youth 2000 in Augusta, GA in 1998. Except it was a man named Joseph, and he'd go to the church and say over and over, "Jesus, this is Joseph." Then he died in an accident, but before he died, he heard, "Joseph, this is Jesus."
