franciscanheart
That half inch of snow we were supposed to get last night? Oh yeah. FIVE. And that ice I mentioned here earlier? It's under the snow, obviously. Guess who isn't a very happy camper today.

sixpence
yipes... I suggest all southern state residents be required to spend one winter of their lives, before the age of 21, in upstate NY in order to familiarize them with snow and ice and avoid future fatalities and accidents. Deus te Amat
Someone broke their leg slipping on campus yesterday. Thankfully, class was canceled again today because of the snow. I haven't had class since Monday because, even though we were supposed to have class yesterday, most of the professors canceled. Texas is weird. Oh, and I was up til 3 frolicking in the snow. Some things never change. Edited February 4, 2011 by Deus_te_Amat

littleflower+JMJ
Yup! The cities didn't close down any highways until there were too many accidents. When they did try to close them, it was already too late! :/
franciscanheart
The local market got right on top of treating the parking lot, making sure it was clear of ice and snow yesterday and easy to navigate... right after someone broke their arm. [/quote] hopefully it won't. jerry can take his stadium and shove it up his yoompis. give us the tax money back so we can fix our streets and hire more cops to combat the crime wave sweeping over arlington. ppfftt! on the super bowl....ppfftt! on jerry jones...ppfftt! on pro sports in general... loving the snow though
