My Teenage Niece And Her Mother

Please pray for my 16 year old niece, whose boyfriend very recently, "smacked," her. My sister sat the boy down yesterday and apparently let him know that this is never happening again, although she did not have them cut off from one another or anything like that. I know my sister will do everything to protect her daughter from him, but I think she's leaving the actual breaking up part up to her daughter. My niece is a strong girl, and she does her best to turn these things over to God, I just pray she's doing it with this matter in particular. I know she'll do the right thing, but she's still very upset and hurt (emotionally speaking).

Please pray for my niece to find comfort and strength from our Lord, and that she'll listen to Him about what to do in this situation. Please pray that her boyfriend would realize the severity of his actions and do whatever it takes to keep himself from acting this way again. Please pray that he would also turn to God on this problem.


I'd also like to ask for a prayer for my sister, who in addition to taking on her the causes of her children, has been very sick the last few months. Doctors cannot figure out what is wrong with her, but it may be pneumonia or something along those lines. So far nothing has helped alleviate her discomfort and pain, yet she goes on with each day as best as can be asked for. Please pray for her health and well-being, and that she keeps close to God during all of this.
