Cherie
This is also the Feast of all consecrated religious, so if you know any religious priests, Brothers, or Sisters, remember to wish them a happy feast day!

[/quote] Yep! At the Vatican they have a huge procession of religious holding candles. Pretty beautiful! When I was in the convent, we did a mini version of this if the Mass on this day was a public one. It's also the day for one of my favorite hymns, "When Mary Brought Her Treasure" which I often use as a lullaby for my baby. Wish I could find a sample of it to show! fides quarens intellectum
we did a little procession in the convent with candles, too, and it was the day that the candidates became postulants. prayers for the new postulants today, as well as all consecrated religious!! My husband and I left our nativity set up in our prayer room until today (old-school Catholicism celebrated Christmas until today, but we didn't want to leave the tree and decorations up that long!), so I will be a little sad to see the nativity set gone tomorrow. CatherineM
I'll spend some time in the chapel at school in adoration. I love that they have made our chapel a perpetual adoration station.
Deus te Amat
I'll hopefully be going to Mass. Yesterday, the priests didn't show up for either of the on campus masses. Not like they're aren't a block or two away or anything. Here's hoping they come today. My day was more empty than usual without it. I guess it shows you how blessed we are to have such an availability of sacraments... Oh, and we have our nativity scene still up, too.
