Apollo
OH MY WORD!!! My husband went to Trinity... Coming from Illinois, he figured he'd start studying when the weather got cooler... by Oct. he realized it wasn't gonna get cooler, so he started studying... He was the only student there who arrived on a Greyhound bus with only one suitcase instead of in a BMW (or so he claims!)
Well, you hit the nail on the head. That's Trinity for ya. It hasn't changed a bit...'cept instead of Beamers it is mostly Escalades and Hummers now. I feel so inadequate. Small world, huh? So your hubby is a Trinity Alum, eh??? Maybe when I graduate next May he can hire me! Hey...it never hurts to start networking early.
immaculata
How about an "I might..." I'm looking at colleges right now and I'm dying to go to Ave Maria University in Tampa, but they don't offer the major I want (communications) Tomorrow I'm going on a college visit to Bradley University (Illinois) I also hear University of Missouri is an excellent journalism school, too.. What MIDWESTERN Catholic colleges would you guys suggest??
Well, unfortunately after a year at Trinity, he had to hop back on the bus and go elsewhere (scholarship was only for a year and since he didn't start studying until Oct., he didn't get another one)... So, then he went to Wheaton. Ultimately, he graduated from UWEC where he met me...... What's your degree in?

willguy
I also hear University of Missouri is an excellent journalism school, too
UM-Columbia has one of the best J-schools in the country! My uncle went there and my sister is going there this fall. If you want Journalism in the midwest, its the place to go.
