M.C. Macabees
you wanna know a secret? If you don't know how to make pirogi, buy the frozen kind from the store (like Mrs. T's pirogi or something) and when you cook them, just drown them in butter and onions. It's not the same as home-made but it's a great substitute.

MithLuin
My sister joined a Polish order of Franciscan sisters Before joining, she went on a pilgrimage to Poland for the beatification of St. Faustina's spiritual director. My cousin also went on a pilgrimage to Poland before joining the Nashville Dominicans. So, it's a family tradition, now, before entering religious orders . Or, well, will be if we can get someone else to do it! Edited January 30, 2011 by MithLuin
