MIKolbe
A letter from Peyton to her Mom and Dad (after her Dad made her oatmeal for breakfast this morning)... I found this note on the counter after I made her oatmeal for breakfast... "Did you know? That Peyton Corsetti hates oatmeal? Try to feed me I will not eat it. even if I'am hungry. cause I can survie." After a lecture Shea sat and fed it to her...and she reluctantly ate it. After dropping her off at school Shea got the oatmeal out to feed Addison. The box was empty and inside was this note... "Spot servering Me oatmeal. I Do not like it. P.S I did not put them in the trash. sighn, Peyton" We have no idea where she put the oatmeal. It is not in the trash. This sounds like something I would do. I am a little scared for the future.....
First, that is HILARIOUS! SHE IS amesome! Did you check her bedroom for the oatmeal? I used to hide things in my dresser or my closet. Just a thought. Second, you may need to work on her spelling and grammar.

Tally Marx
she's in 3rd grade, and she wrote the note half asleep. (615 am) and she has an A in spelling.
My kid sister is in Kindergarten and she writes like this (she wrote an entire letter to our seminarian friend in "priest school", as she calls it). And she is just as sassy, too. Kids say the darndest things, sometimes. It's positively hilarious!
MissScripture
she's in 3rd grade, and she wrote the note half asleep.
When I showed my mom the original post and and this post, she said, almost word for word, the following:
That's what we used to say about my sister. Now she's in college and still spells that way.
We are also curious as to the rest of the story --so, what happened when Peyton came home? Did you ever find the rest of the oatmeal?? MIKolbe
the oatmeal was behind the flour and sugar canisters in the pantry.... When Shea picked her up from school, shea didn't say anything... Peyton wanted a dollar to tape coach to the gym wall (long story, it's a fundraiser), so Shea said "since you at your oatmeal, even though you didn't want to, ok here's a dollar." Peyton was WAY confused... lol Shea would ask her questions about her day and Peyton would be on edge thinking she was going to ask about the oatmeal....but Shea never did. When they got home, the note she had written was on the counter. Shea took EVERYTHING off the counter except for the note. As Shea was getting Addie out of the car, Peyton put all the hidden oatmeal on the counter next to the note. She crossed out everything she had previously written, and wrote this: "Dear Dad, I'm sorry I was being a bratey brat. Will you forgive me? Love, Peyton" I got home, read the note, and put her on restriction for a week. I am currently playing 'fineas and ferb' on her DSI.
