Vincent Vega
Hate to break it to you, but you and Guildenstern are dead.
SoonerCatholic
You know how many times I get that? I even used to get it from my pediatrician. Sorta funny story: my sister's sixth grade class was putting on Hamlet for their Shakespeare unit and everyone thought it would be funny if my sister was Guildenstern's companion. She wasn't interested in acting though.

MithLuin
For those interested in learning the song, there are instructional posters. (larger version) I couldn't find a picture of the poster my family has. It's got a donkey sitting on a bench in the middle, pointing at each of the things around it. Or even better, you can get it on a beer stein Edited January 29, 2011 by MithLuin

MithLuin
You know, I've told that story to a German speaker, and she thought his meaning would have been understood perfectly. In other words....it's not as big of a mistake as American German teachers like to say it was . [For anyone not in on this joke - we're discussing JFK's speech in Berlin where he announced 'Ich bin ein Berliner.' If he wanted to say he was from Berlin, he should have said, 'Ich bin Berliner.' - no article. Ein Berliner is a jelly donut. It's the difference between saying 'I'm from Hamburg' and 'I'm a hamburger'...but, not really.] Edited January 29, 2011 by MithLuin
