Living in Quebec at the moment. I'm fluent in French. It's fun to speak in French.

Maybe you and I can speak French together!!
Je parle francaise, mais je ne parle pas bien.
I am very bad with grammar, because I have no one to speak/write with.
Would you mind if I sent you a PM so you could help me out?

That's an amesome list, there! I didn't think of it earlier, but the French have Cluny, the beginning of the 10th century monastic reform, and Citeaux/Clairveaux, the beginning of the Cistercians as well.

I have spent most of a day in the Paris airport, but never visited.

I studied a little French in grade school, and can say important things like 'Ou est que c'est le WC?' I also love Cajun food and music. :)

J'aime le gateau.

Le roi est mort.

Here's some Beau Soleil. I've seen them in concert, too, thanks to a coworker :)

I find it amusing that there are so many letters that aren't pronounced. It's, like, the second half of a third of the words! I find it easier to understand written French than spoken French. But then, I haven't studied it since eighth grade.

Ma soeur parle le francais bien. Mon frere etudie le francais.

Je ne parle pas le francais!

Love Cajun food, though.....
