rhetoricfemme
As he was leaving for work this morning, my husband and the neighbor parked directly arcross from him both backed out at the same time, hitting each others' rear bumpers. Thankfully, they were both uninjured, although each bumper has a minor crack in it. My husband let me know, she told her husband, and it was decided that they just wanted to get to work on time, and they'll be coming over this evening to talk. Apparently they also came to the general consensus that they didn't really care, because the damage was so minimal. I don't know yet if we'll be exchanging insurance info (I really wish they'd done this right away, but we're past that), or just letting it alone. Not to mention, it was only yesterday afternoon that we switched our auto insurance companies, so I don't know if we're in some sort of insurance limbo or what, and it's got me worried. It means the world to me that this collision was so minor and that my husband and neighbor are safe, so I'm very thankful for that! I would like to ask prayers, though, that this all sorts itself out okay. God's already calmed me enough to just accept that whatever happens happens, and we'll be fine. Please pray that our discussion with our neighbors is a good one, and that I can keep myself from dwelling on this and worrying for the rest of the day. Thank you!
