Sternhauser
It's at least sexual activity.
It isn't. It's an abuse of the sexual faculty. It is stimulation of the sex organs, but it is not sexual activity. Neither is rape a sexual act. That is why the Church allows nuns to use non-abortifacient (non-hormonal) contraception in places where there is a high likelihood of rape. Sexual acts are unitive and open to procreation. ~Sterhauser Edited January 27, 2011 by Sternhauser

Jesus_lol
This thread took a very clear turn towards Stupid, when people started debating which sexual acts can be called sexual. Im not sure on what planet these semantic arguments are needed, but it isnt this one.

It is, of course, possible to commit sexual sins with one's spouse. [And not just contraception.]

MithLuin
They do. But I'm pretty sure that most of the things being obliquely discussed in this thread are sexual acts, even if they are not sexual intercourse. Certainly, they are sexual sins. So, the attempts to be pedantic are obfuscating the issue rather than clarifying it. Anyway, back to avoiding a discussion of living out celibacy, albeit temporarily. Hinter dem Horizont
I'm 24, straight, and still a virgin. It's something people make fun of because people these days are having sex at 15 years old. Edited January 31, 2011 by Hinter dem Horizont
MithLuin
To be fair, it used to be fairly normal to get married at 15 years old....at least for girls.
