Catholics Burning In Hell

So what percent of catholics go to confession ? How many go to mass every week ? How many are probally in mortal sin ? How many receive the Body and Blood without examining their concience ? (sp ? ) Why did Jesus talk about hell so much ? What if you died right now where would you go ? If you are in mortal sin reading this are you scared ?

I know I'm dirty. I'm in the same boat as her. Prayers 4 both of us.

if you're dirty take a bath--confession and baptism are connected. Prayers for continual bathing. Keep taking plunges... water's great.

i went to confession thursday and i STILL feel great! :) of course, i am sure that i will have to spend time in purgatory, but I will be happy to do so, because then i know where i will ultimately end up.

I went to confession on Sunday, and mass Sunday-Monday-Tuesday. :)

So, just based on the questions in the OP, I'm in good shape....but...I'm not necessarily ready to meet my Maker, either. I think Purgatory would be a given, because I'm someone who knows better - I'm decently well educated in my faith and am not making careless mistakes. It's more...deliberate obduracy that I have to confess. So, to whom much is given, much is expected and all of that.

I am not really scared of hell. I mean, sure, in the same way I'm scared of the dark. It's scary. But I don't...I don't actively dread it, I guess. I find it too difficult to picture myself totally cut off from God to even imagine what hell is like. And, at the end of the day...I trust Jesus' judgments, whatever they might be.
