Hey folks, long time no see (for those who know who I am), just thought I'd stop in for a quick visit... hopefully say hi to some old internet chums haha, perhaps sink my teeth into some debate or something (looks like without my influence everything goes bad lol, not really just kidding folks)... maybe not, busy these days... ahhh phatmass... long time no see...

anyway, many things have happened in my life, so while I'm visiting, here's a few...

My mom passed away of breast cancer in October. Requiescat in pace.

I graduated college in December. B.A. in Anthropology.

Got a girlfriend in January (ohey that's this month, but it already feels like longer), life is looking up in 2011.

I'm writing a novel... got my 50,000 base (but I didn't do them all in November, so I'm not cool).

anyway, I really just stopped by to grab a taco (amazingly good) (amazingly good), but I'll stay and say hi for a bit :smokey:

Al! Thanks for stopping in. I'm sorry to hear about your mother, and will pray for her and your family.

As for me, I'm just wrangling the kiddos most of the time, and doing Billings instruction from home. We could use some prayers, as my husband's applying for a post-doc at Oxford.

novel is about a post apocalyptic world where technology doesn't work and a strange kid with an inexplicable power... it takes place in an old monastery that has been turned into a sort of refugee area and orphanage, where the kid shows up, and it explores themes of faith and doubt and religion without proposing one thing or another, leaving most things open to reader interpretation.
