Here's the link to the Active, habited orders that teach page. Sister Marie
Hey friends, thanks for mentioning my nuns, the IHMs of Immaculata. We have missions on the east coast from Miami to CT. We have a great connection with the Christ the King Sisters, who are wonderful. Their original sisters did their formation with my community. Last year a few of them stopped by our Motherhouse when they were "in the neighborhood" and it was so nice to be with them! We do wear a habit, live in community, and pray with one another and the Church through daily Mass and Morning and Evening Prayer in common. Privately each sister says the rosary and stations of the cross each day in addition to their own private prayer time during a Holy Hour. Anyway, prayers for you! SoonerCatholic
I recommend Institute on Religious Life. You can used the advanced search (Resources->Vocation Search) to narrow communities by apostolate, you can also search by location. The communities featured on there are typically habited and orthodox. I will also put a note in for the School Sisters of Christ the King, I visited them last summer and they were absolutely wonderful and I had a great time. It's really too bad I don't feel called to be a teacher since there are so many beautiful teaching orders.
