Nihil Obstat

O sing unto Him who was crucified, buried and resurrected for us, who trampled and abolished death. Praise Him and exalt Him above all.

That is all.

I think it's an enormous shame that only ~300 people in the entire world still speak Copic. What a neat language.

This is really beautiful, I'm not sure if it Coptic or not. Think so but can't tell. Anyway it's great though the beginning is a little corny.

It's certainly in a similar style. I don't know if that's liturgical or not, and I don't know how Coptic sounds versus Egyptian Arabic.

Oh no I don't think it's liturgical, rather some Christian Group singing a song of theirs.

I was basing it on the garments of the Priest, and style of the Church.

Well the style of singing is very distinctive. The only thing similar is the Muslim style, which is based on the Coptic style in the first place, so you're definitely right on the mark there.

It's very distinct music - lovely. I was actually quite concerned when I saw that title that this was going to be spam - so glad it wasn't!
