When Did Pm's Search Function Start Being So Horrible?

It used to be easy to go find old threads, especially old ones you yourself had posted. now it wont let you do that more than a few months back. so i tried using the advanced search, to go get all of my thread from a certain time period, which used to work, now it wont let me hone my search down to my threads only, so im getting a lot of my random posts clogging it up, and i can only see a small amount of those at a time too.

why would something like a search function get modified to be less useful over time? that seems highly unusual

Sometimes I go to my profile and click "View My Content". That sometimes work when I look for some interesting topic. Or look up at Google. Type: site: www.phatmass.com/phorum "What you are searching"

that search is limited to one year ago. if you happen to know when you posted it, you can find all your posts, but there isnnt a specific option to just find your threads AFAIK. it used to be much easier, no date was needed.

problem, micah? :P

Man, i didnt know where this thread went, so i searched for it. bad idea

"my content" didnt find it at all for some reason, or any of the posts i made in this thread. once i narrowed it down from "threads and posts" to just "threads" it found the thread, but thats a pretty defective search, and its done that to me a lot, missing whole threads when i search for "my content"

It is either some kind of cruelty or ironic genius that makes it so i cant find a thread about the Search function being terrible, by using the search function.
