Nihil Obstat
Nihil, thats a whole different thing than a ghost that haunts a house because he has unfinished busniess. With God all things are possible, anything that He wills at least. I doubt that God would let a ghost that hung himself over his girlfriends untimely death, or a ghost of a person killed in a castle siege to just bypass judgement so they can scare people. ed
Certainly, such a scenario would be highly unlikely. I agree that this sort of presentation is probably demonic. There is also legitimate speculation about the idea of leftover 'energies', which I won't comment on because I'm woefully unqualified, but the speculation is there. goldenchild17
I sometimes watch ghosthunter's although every episode is essentially the same anymore. I understand and agree with the danger of seeking out evil spirits (if in fact they all are) but I also can see it from the view of the people who are looking for answers. Granted, the actual chance of many, or any of these being real hauntings are slim, but assuming that they are then if I was one of those affected by spirits living in my home then I would probably want to know. Would it be better just to have a priest come in and do a home exorcism of the whole place? Probably.
MarkKurallSchuenemann
I like Ghost Hunters as they seem to be the most objective and less annoying.
Yes it is. I only watched 5 minutes of it, and one of the things the guy says is a sign of spiritual activity is something I experience all to often. . . Fortunately, I know I can crush serpents and scorpions under my feet (or as Jesus puts it, the power to tread upon them), and I don't take their croutons for very long - they get a long imprisonment in Hell.
