socalscout
Can there exists reasons a civil divorce can occur in a Catholic marriage? I guess every divorce is civil otherwise it would be an annulment. Knowing that one must never remarry nor have sex with another person then does the Church allow for divorce? Update: Found my answer here http://www.cuf.org/F...iew.asp?ffID=54 Edited August 17, 2011 by Lil Red
Theoketos
Divorce for grave reasons is permitted by Church law. Divorce and "remarriage" (without an annulment because the marriage was invalid) is a serous sin. Sorry about the long wait...
