doe-jo
So I finally bought My first car and I was just wondering... is it normal to have your car blessed? And did you get your car blessed? Edited January 15, 2011 by doe-jo
dominicansoul
I've had my car blessed.... but i have a question...since we can't sell blessed items...is it okay, I've always traded in my blessed cars for another, like, the dealership knocks down the price, isn't that like selling? Or would selling a blessed item be wrong, only if it was a medal, or statue, or relic, etc.???
CatherineM
I done it in the past, especially when I did a lot of traveling for my job. Didn't this time primarily because our priests are just too busy and I hated to bother them with something like that.

cappie
I usually bless at least one car a week, the blessing is primarily to ask God's blessing on those who use the car, # 851 Book of Blessings,"[i]The quality of life is enhanced by various means of over comming distance and of making it possible for people to come together...these resources include.....all types of motor vehicles, Since all of them require respect for social responsibility, a blessing provides an opportunity to praise God for giving us such benefits and to pray for the safety of those who use them.
