rhetoricfemme
Praise and prayers for my new nephew Thomas William Randall Fultz! He was born 1/11/11 via c-section after a long day of laboring, when the doctors were unable to help him turn properly to come through the birth canal. Both he and my sister are doing well, thank God! I'm also thrilled to say that my husband made it home safely from his deployment, and it's been absolutely wonderful having him home! I'm so thankful for having him back, and that our 17 month old son wasted no time loving on his daddy and didn't hesitate with him at all. If you could also please pray for my mother and sisters, it would be greatly appreciated. First off, my sister Lynn is very reliant on her wheelchair, which broke today. Someone is coming to fix it tomorrow, but in the meantime she is without one of the two key places she spends her day, and being confined to to a single place for too long is rather physically daunting for her. Please pray that her chair would be fixed soon, and that in the mean time she would stay comfortable. When my sister Brandi went into labor, my other sister, Kim, informed my mother that she wasn't about to have them drive the normally hour and a half long trip through the bad snow storm they were having in order to spend an undisclosed amount of time at the hospital waiting for the baby to be born. The reason my mother wouldn't/couldn't go alone was because she needs Kim's help when it comes to taking our disabled sister on lengthy trips. Our mother was heartbroken about the whole situation, and this is the third grandchild in recent years whose birth she has missed because of circumstances that were very much out of her hands. It makes her feel like she is failing her family, when that is obviously not the case, nor do any of us feel this way. So if you could, please pray for my mother's peace of mind and heart, for her and Kim to move past the tension this has caused between them. Thank you all so much for assisting us in prayer; you're all in my heart and prayers, as well!
