God Bless
lol!!!!!! I love completely random stuff that makes no sense - though creativity (and it is strong with you) needs some discipline to direct it properly. This is what I came up with when I had to do a surrealistic project last year - which had to be a self-portrait - which will get probably the same reaction to it as everybody here. I love surrealism art, it's so fun and freeing, where you can just let go of logic and sanity and just plain create something like a dream or nightmare!
In my eyes mind I sensed that you were channeling a klan rally under a blood red harvest moon amidst the Geogia pines. But I am neither talented nor sensitive, unless you are referring to the way my teeth react to cold liquids washing against them while I drink. I must admit this image you submitted here for perusal has piqued my curiousity, I find it appealing and yes I would agree you are creative, upon one final review it could be construed as your struggle between your good inner self as projected through the cross and your darker nature exhibited by the blood red moon, and you stuck in the middle blinded, not of your own accord, rather seemingly by circumstances thrust upon you against your will illustrated by the crude sack mask covering your eyes as if forcing you to choose your path without the benefit of a landmark to guide you, such are the vagaries of life. ed
MarkKurallSchuenemann
That's what is awesome about art. I think that is much more representative of your soul and not mine. For me, that is the sun in an angry evil red, pouring it's destruction on the Earth, being used by a few to commit evil things on people in the name of what many believe is right. Below it, another image of evil, a very spikey palm tree, not a pine. The Landscape is 5 pictures of me twisted and turned behind the one picture of me - which is why I call this piece me in 5 dimensions. Beside me is the Cross, ever behind me, ever comforting, with it's bloody stains of the one I loved who had to die on it for my wrongs. Instead of a mouth is an eye, because when I communicate it is always to say what I see, and my eyes are filled with my dreams (those two pictures are pictures of dreams I had and I immediately drew as I awoke.) - one of a super heroine fighting off villians to protect a base above her, and another of a naked man standing in triumph over the waters, and his reflection is of the Cross crushing the serpent, but the sun and palm tree in the background, looking at him angrily again! All art is subjective to the eye of the beholder, I had very different things in my mind's eye that I saw when I was creating this than you saw in it when you saw it. That's what makes art wonderful, and everybody awesome. I'm 36.
