txdinghysailor
Oh, another thing is to try to stay in touch and communicating about all sorts of stuff. When either of us see a cool article on parenting, raising kids, or anything like that, we send it to each other. Then we both read it and talk about it. It is very cool
Cherie
Our relationship was semi-long-distance, so when my future husband went to work in the morning, he'd call me and we'd pray the rosary together on his way to work. That was really special to me -- no matter what, every day--whether in person or over the phone-- we'd pray the rosary together; we never missed a day. So even if you don't get to see her everyday, it might be a good thing to do!

Sirklawd
All of this is really amazing! Thank you so much. If this works out you are all seriously invited to the wedding. Catholictothecore
When I was courting LGLG, we prayed a lot together, especially at the school Newman Center. Having the back-up of other Catholics was huge. Would write more, but am very sick today. Let's just say that we have found a strong sense of Catholic community greatly aided our growth as a strong Catholic couple.
Archaeology cat
My husband and I were long-distance for most of the time, and we made a point of praying and studying the Bible together. I was converting at the time, so we'd also talk about any questions I had and such. He was my sponsor for my Confirmation, actually. I'm bad at communicating, and I know this, so I'd make a point of emailing him every morning, even if it was just to say hello, and we spoke on the phone most nights.
Also FLOWERS!!! Surprise her with flowers at various times -- girls LOVE flowers!!!!
But check to make sure she doesn't have a flower-eating cat first. I love flowers, but my cats will eat them, so no flowers. I'm amazed they haven't destroyed my parsley yet.
It was my husband's idea - we knew that we both prayed the rosary daily, and he initiated it, like, "How about we pray it together everyday." I'm so glad he did! Socrates
Trips to the mountains, canoeing . . . and taking her to unique little local hole-in-the-wall restaurants. Be sure to pray together often. It'll actually do wonders for your love life, among other things.
