So God has totally blessed me with an amazing and devout Catholic girlfriend. W00T! Now I'm trying to come up with fun, clever, thoughtful, prayerful things to do. So I'd love to hear from all of the awesome couples on this board, especially the women. What sort of awesome things did your Boyfriend do for you/with you? How did you grow in faith together? What made you go "awwww". Anything goes from the smallest thing to the biggest! I'm pulling out all the stops here! I will also take just straight-up advice too! Hook a brother up! :like:

Don’t know if you have a Perpetual Adoration in your area, but 15 minutes together in front of the Blessed Sacrament is a great way to start your date. And then cap the date off with saying the Rosary, even if it is just one decade. My wife really loved that. We took bible studies together. We prayed the Magnificat together. Shortly before we were engaged, she went to Ecuador for 3.5 weeks. Before she left, we sat down and set days and times when we would do the same prayers at the same time. We used the Advent Magnificat and Rosary. This had a profound effect on us both. So much that we chose the Advent/Christmas season to get married.

Above all things, protect her purity.

God bless you both!

Yes! Even if it is just a trip to the tabernacle, it is well worth it on a date.

My husband and I also prayed Evening Prayer of the Liturgy of the Hours together when we were dating.

I'm not in a relationship, but I'm a Catholic girl who's hoping for one someday, so I think I can help lol.
Make her a rosary using her favorite colors for thread. It would show her that you took time out to make her something AND that you want her to be close to Mary.

Find something you enjoy to do together that you can do for a lifetime. We do water aerobics, disc golf, and 5 pin bowling. Silly things, but we can still do them when we are 70 years old, and they're cheap.

Another thing I used to do and still do is to put little notes in places for her to come across when I am not around. e.g. purse, coat pocket, car windshield

Well one thing I do is whenever I'm going through a tough time or w/e, I'll offer it up for her. And I'll tell her about it, too. That helps both of us cuz it makes me feel better, and it usually helps her feel very loved.

As for things to do, well I'm not sure if you want to follow my advice exactly... But we've done pretty much everything together... Kayaking, canoeing, rowing, fishing, sailing, sailing sailing, rock climbing, tree climbing, swinging from trees, playing lots of capture the flag, beating both of our families at basketball, playing ping pong, picnics on beaches, hiking, building a KAYAK, refinishing a sailboat, ummm, yeah, so we can pretty much do anything together and not get mad at each other, even when what we're doing is going badly, which I think bodes well for when the little kiddoes come along and raise hell....
