MarkKurallSchuenemann Posted January 9, 2011 Share Posted January 9, 2011 How can a villain fight a super hero who knows what the villain is going to do before he does it? If anything can describe the base idea of Kurall it is that line, and I wanted to share with all of you the vision I have for an amazing comic book style video game. Kurall was the very first character I played in a MMO that I actually really enjoyed playing. After the makers of City of Heroes ruined the game, IMHO, I switched this character to Star Wars Galaxies. When the makers of that game changed everything, I stopped playing that game, but Kurall wouldn't die in my imagination. I had to create his story. It was during that time one of my professors inspired me to use electronic storytelling to tell Kurall's story, I may have thought a flash comic book at the time, but that idea kept on evolving in my mind. After I graduated, I worked for about a couple of years to save some money, and then I went back to Loyalist college to take the Animation program there. Here is the animation I was part of last year - if you were wondering about the talent of our course. I would show you guys my latest stuff, but that requires me to record it as a video - I have water that ripples and the entire sky is revolving now with a strong crackling wind sound - because the villain is manipulating time and space to alter the weather patterns! Also, the buildings are casting off light now - but I am going to switch that up for the one building that the villain has taken over. I got rippling water - and even though you can't see it in just one picture, the clouds twirl and twirl around! However, I want to get thunder and lightning in my level - which will have to be during the summer.
