What Is The Sweetest Sound

One, has to be (and my favorite) the giddy laughter of a child.

I went to a beautiful concert entitled "Baroque Christmas in Russian and Ukraine" last night... and the music I heard was absolutely wonderful.

So hard to decide!

Maybe the sound of rain on a tin roof....
Or the sound of a rushing stream over rocks...
Or of a bird singing in early morning...
Or the sound of the organ rising in praise at the end of an Ordination Mass....

But, on second thought, I would have to say it's the sound of Peace before the Blessed Sacrament in Adoration.
That sound, which is not really sound, is the best music I've never heard.

Maximilianus

Hearing the dulcid tones of a group of monks chanting...the singing of coquíes as the darkness descends over the mountains, to Puerto Ricans it's sweet, to Hawaiians it's a cocophony...the metallic gong sound when I hit the hanging target at the farthest distance on the range.
