Ed Normile
That's because those who advocate gay marriage don't think about their arguments and nobody challenges them to expand the argument or state it correctly. It is clear that all forms of marriage between consenting parties (and I choose "parties" intentionally, since age discrimination is wrong) should be recognized and supported via special economic means by the government. The limit to one spouse is obviously a civil rights violation, as is the law against incest.
Well yeah, unless those " consenting parties " happen to be a heterosexual couple then they should be left to their own devices as crazy religious radicals should be. ed
Mr.Cat
A thread complaining about governmental forums? I have more serious complaints and concerns about governmental forums than what they call parents... This sort of topic reminds me of how people can be offended by CE and BCE, its so trivial that you might as well be complaining that people don't put JMJ on their papers anymore. Such a trivial issue has caused people to start rambling about bestiality, pedophilia, homosexuality, cohabitation, polygamy, incest, and what else? Did I miss anything in that list? Did all sanity break down somewhere in this thread or is this just a chance for people to rant? If so, I joined in.

B) If you think the thread is so ridiculous why did you waste your time posting? C) CE and BCE are idiotic and shouldn't be used in Catholic settings. I don't respond to seriousness well and I am rarely ever serious, seriously! Most topics I have a minimal interest in, I don't really care or mind how it results in, it's just conversation. I have fun with it. I don't think I ever said I wasn't interested in this topic or any topic, can you cite that? More importantly, you seem to be confusing caring about something and being interested in something. So it doesn't seem your following logic at all! It seems more like an attempt to seem intelligent when in fact your not appearing intelligent at all to the competent reader. But perhaps you have a different perspective? Just to note, I do make a lot of typos in my work and the computer automatically corrects the spelling, sometimes my computer and I are not like minded. I was rather embarrassed when I made a post on the "Holy Magnesium", its rather important to us Catholics eh? It's impatience and laziness on my part.
