holly.o
Not to Phatmass, because that's a website, and you're already here. A real pilgrimage to holy places. Wouldn't that be neat? Who wants to go? Where would you like to go? Why? Dust, can you get us a discount?

Ed Normile
Where would I want to go? Ireland as I am of Irish descent and there is Knock Ireland an approved Marian apparition site as well as the whole catholic presence which is rich in Irish history. Few people know of the oppression of the faith in Ireland brought by the church of england, property owners who were catholic had their lands confiscated and given to those loyal to the church of england. Countless priests were martyred and church buildings destroyed or confiscated as well as just regular catholic faithful who were forced to practise their faith in secrecy or be killed. Thousands who refused to convert were persecuted and driven to live in poverty, yet despite this the Church still remained. ed

holly.o
Oh wow, tnavarro... those are really beautiful! Especially San Sabastian. I've met some very devout Filipinos, so the Faith must be very strong there. I really meant to put Ireland, Ed! I'm part Irish and have always wanted to go. But I guess I was intending to mean the UK and Ireland. Oops. Personally, I originally voted for France then switched to Italy. I them both, but as others pointed out, that is where Our Holy Father is... But how awesome it would be to go to the Holy Land and walk where Jesus was! Thank God I don't have much money and the ability to travel, as I would be wandering all over the place...
dominicansoul
I voted other and I suggest: The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, La Crosse Wisconsin: http://www.guadalupeshrine.org/Home/Home.asp I've been there, and it is one of the most beautiful places on earth! Plus, it would probably be most affordable to all of us...
