MissScripture
Have you ever paid attention to the fact at our masses, you are always able to receive from either the Deacon or Father? I never go to the EMHCs, for sure won't be once we have kids and I'm toting them around. I do go to them for the precious blood however. I would like to see our parish do away with having EMHCs except for the precious blood, I would consider it a small win..Heck I'm just happy that we have three good solid priests at the two parishes we frequent!
I do go to the EMHCs sometimes if the line for the priest is really long and no one is going to them. Honestly, I don't think most of the EMHCs even have an idea that they should be extraordinary. And, I think those that do know, continue to be EMHCs to make sure that WORSE things aren't happening --like they want to make sure that things are done appropriately, and respectfully. BigJon16
hahaha nice. Yeah, I get angry when they "bless".
I understand how it is not right for them to "bless". But what should the EMHCs do in the event they get a child who has not received their first communion? Just wondering.
