AudreyGrace
We do $75.00, but it is a 4 day trip, including a full day of touring. We also do 2 rallies, and a protest at a local abortion clinic. I am buried in paperwork for the March right now. You wouldn't believe the prep needed to make trips like this happen.
$75.00?!?!?!? Where are you coming from? I'm from upstate NY, our fee is $115 a person. It's a two day, one night trip. We stay in a Church basement lol. We do get to go to the youth rally at the Verizon Center, though. And the Mass at the Basilica the night before. On the way home we stop at Mount Saint Mary's and eat with the seminarians. But wow.. your trip sounds awesome! The teens will definitely appreciate your hard work. So does God.

MithLuin
My school is trying to send a group this year. If they pick me to chaperon, I can go, but if not...I have work that day. I *could* take a personal day and go anyway, but I haven't decided to do that, yet. There's not much I'll put above my students.
elizabeth09
I am not. But the year that I want, it was very good.
KnightofChrist
I am very blessed that all my planning has worked out. The same day I received my work schedule I was able to find someone to switch hours for me, so the 24th is clear. It was also published in our bulletin this weekend that my parish will be sending a bus (last week I was beginning to think that I would have to find another parish to go with) - so I will be calling tomorrow morning. $15 only! The list of parishes that I went through the other day (a pro-life newsletter listed all parishes in the area that will be sending a bus, very convenient) required anywhere from $20 to $35. Hopefully Knight will not mind me mentioning that he has to pay $70! Same deal too, there and back in one day. Anyway now I just have to tell my professors that I will be missing our second day of classes...but a Catholic university has to understand LOL.
Yeah $70 smackers! And my trip is only what one more hour than yours... And I get to leave at 2 AM! WOOT
icelandic_iceskater
I'll be there! Ours is only $60, in DC Sat-Mon, traveling through the night there and back. woot! I'm afraid my going is more of a social thing than a protest spurred on by a passion for Life, though. ah-well, it's something to work towards. MissyP89
A couple of friends of mine were talking about going before Christmas, but then we learned the 24th is the second day of Monday/Wednesday classes. They're engineers, so they really can't afford to skip. I could -- Religion in Asia is very low on my priority list -- but as of right now I have no ride. incarnatewordsister
I was thinking about it, but I've decided to stay for the one in Texas because my beloved Sisters will be marching there...(they'll be in D.C., too, but why travel when I've got them here. ) Also, marching in Austin is a bit more dangerous. We get hecklers, and they are more and more brash as the years go by. Once, they brought their own marching band, complete with loud banging drums and brass to try and drown out our Rosaries and our cries for life. I think Texas needs more pro-life participants...
When is the one in Austin?
MithLuin
Please, everyone, pray for the March today! If you can't be there in person, you can still do a lot of good for the cause

TeresaBenedicta
I didn't get to go (alas, back on the West coast now), but my alma mater did host a Vigil for Life rally that was very successful! My best friend gave a pro-life talk at it this morning before everyone headed down to the March.
