Recommended Posts

I just watched "To Save A Life and it made me want to do something big. I want people, especially teenagers, to know that they are loved and that they aren't alone. I don't know how to do it. Can you help? Do you think this is an awful idea? Do you know someone who can benefit from something like this? please let me know.

my blog that I just started for this is projectyouareloved.blogspot.com or you can email me at projectyouareloved@gmail.com

THANKS!!!!

(By the way, this is MCTS, I just can't get back into my account. can anybody help with that?)

That sounds like an awesome idea. No one comes to mind straightaway, but if I can think of anything I will let you know.

On the second part, everything looks normal on your account. I will send you a PM.

I'm thinking that starting a letter kind of thing (kind of like the poster did a while back, only on a broader scale than everyone writing to one girl) and starting a blog where people who have been through tough places can write letters to people who are going through bad situations. I have to think and pray about how that's going to happen, though.

Great cause.. i'd like to help. How do you want teenagers to know that they are loved? Primarily through writing letters to teens? How about a site with motivational articles, tips for dealing with bullies, etc? It could be under the patronage of St. John Bosco.

Please send me an IM or email 'cause i've got ideas...

That sounds great, with the motivational articles and the letters. I definitely don't want to rush into anything because I'm starting at a new school, but if you have any more ideas of how this could be pulled off, I would love to hear them.

I think it's a great idea. I'm gonna wait on it though and see what sort of things I can think of. Don't go anywhere! :P

You could share the site on medical forums on the section of depression, self-help, self-esteem, teens, etc. Though, few allow non-medical addresses posted.

Dream big! :)

I think its a great idea! I've always dreamed of starting something that has to do with embracing true womanhood in the eyes of God, especially for teenage girls who live in a culture of sex and immodesty. There's a non-official post-it project going around, where you write on post-its and stick them random places for people to find. (inside a shared library book, on a telephone pole, a church pew, bus seat, on and on and on..) Whatever you have in mind, run with it! Teens need positive messages out there, trust me :)
