Luigi
1. A nice scarf (the around-the-neck kind) that matches or highlights her eyes AND 2. A tasteful brooch to pin it in place AND 3. A small box of very good chocolates AND 4. A check (or facsimile thereof) that promises you'll clean your room OR 5. A check (or facsimile thereof) that promises to do some sort of slug work that she doesn't want to do but will if you don't volunteer to do it for her. Ed Normile
Write your mom a letter and relate to her the things you love the most about her. Include how much you appreciate the special things she does for you. Tell her you will never forget her. Stand there while she reads it, keep a box of tissues handy. Take some time and talk to her, but more importantly listen to her. You will end up finding more things you love her for, and she will have received the finest gift you could ever give her. ed
