Sarah147
I know of a Catholic so-called hospital that use ECT (Electric Shock Therapy, known to cause permanent memory loss, aka brain damage) and another that uses Reiki. Should the Catholic-status be removed or something done?

I received a few of those treatments when I was depressed to the point of suicidal. It is short term memory that is lost when ECT is performed. The brain is not damaged at all. I can use mine as well as, or even better, than I could before. I was given ECT treatments at a Catholic hospital. Because they were trying to save my life, I think a few synapses were worth giving up.. I do not know what Reiki is, so I have no comment on it. I know of a nurse that had it and lost all memory of her nursing education and had to give up the job! I think you were a lucky, rare few! Reiki is demonic energy field, New Age stuff. Steer clear. The Church rejects it. Edited December 30, 2010 by JoyfulLife
