Ed Normile
Well this young girl is about ready to deliver and she must be uncomfortable being so far along. I hope she finds a good place to deliver as I hear she has to travel during this the last period of her pregnancy. I am sure being so young she will be allright, but you sure can feel for her, its so scary when you have a child you never know for sure if the child will be healthy or how the woman will handle the labor. We should all say a prayer that she is okay and her baby is delivered healthy, afterall this could be anybody here or even someone you know. CatherineM
Saw a woman today who looked a lot like that. I think it is going to be a Christmas baby. She had that late term walk where she looked like she was walking with a bowling ball clutched between her knees.

I thought that would be the greatest thing, he has always hated it, he used to complain " everybody gets a birthday and gifts and then has Christmas and gets more gifts, I only get gifts once a year" I realized that would be the case, even if you got gifts wrapped in birthday paper with a birthday note it would still be only one day a year! ed

She celebrated her 1/2 birthdays instead in June. So instead of a 16th birthday party, she had a 16 1/2 party.
MithLuin
One can also celebrate on the name day, the feast day of the saint you're named for. That doesn't always space them out, but it can help. I've enjoyed having an August birthday because it means no fuss at school and no other holidays to overshadow it. [/quote] Really? Friends of mine who had summer birthdays always hated that they were in the summer because, when you're younger, school friends don't tend to keep in touch over the summer. I guess what some people enjoy others will always dislike. I also have a friend with a Dec 25 birthday, and she doesn't really mind it at all - having birthday cake is just another part of their Christmas! For my kids, theirs name days are a couple of months before their birthdays.
CatherineM
My birthday always fell during Lent. Also a bummer for parties.

Hey, maybe that's a good name for that place...Sleep with the Friendly Beasties....We may look expensive, but we are not!
