rhetoricfemme
Here is an update on Jake Love, who is 2 years old and has a form of childhood cancer that he is not expected to survive. While his family continues to pray for a cure, they've basically been told to take him home and just love on him and enjoy their time together as much as they can. Please pray for Jake's recovery (I know that sounds naive), for him to have peace and comfort during this time, regardless of where God's Will takes him. Please pray for Jake's family to embrace every second of their son's life, to find solace in Him, and to thank the Lord for all they have been given in their son.
I wanted to give a quick update. Jake has good days and bad days. He is very tired but still manages a smile for us every now and then. He also still loves watching football with his daddy. His BeBe, my mom, came and blew some bubbles for him today, which he enjoyed. Please continue to pray for Jake's comfort and for our family. We will always be grateful for the support you have shown us.
Tonight I also received an update from the Caring Bridge site of Dylan Pospisil, who passed away earlier this year at 2 1/2 years old from cancer. I just thought I would link to his page, too, just in case anyone wants to hear about their family's journey and healing, or to send them prayers, too.
