Chiquitunga
Praised be Jesus Christ! I'm posting this here because I love this thread! (and I'm still hoping to get those videos translated!) Today, on the Feast of St. Bartholomew the Apostle, is the 450th Anniversary of St. Teresa's first foundation, the Carmel of San Jose in Avila - http://www.sanjosedeavila.es/ (check out the videos and gallery, I love how they keep their faces hidden) Also, many great pictures from there here "We observe the rule of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and keep it without mitigation..." St. Teresa of Jesus Life, ch. 36, 26 St. Teresa, St. Joseph & St. Bartholomew, pray for us! VeniJesuAmorMi
Praised be Jesus Christ! Now and forever. I really enjoy this thread! I wish I could remember this book I have once seen (the text was all in spanish) but it was filled with beautiful pictures of the monastery and the Sisters (though not the faces of course.) I tried to find pictures to post here, but I couldn't really find much. I came across the website of the monastery though and they do have very nice pictures in the gallery, so if anyone was interested: http://www.sanjosedeavila.es/en/fundacion.php
