Winchester
It's not true. At a mixer, Islam totally did not recognize The Immaculate Conception, but was very friendly and apologized for the incident. Islam did recognize Protestants and had a very lengthy conversation about 18th Century fletching techniques.

Lilllabettt
Is it true that Islam recognizes the Immaculate Conception but not Protestants? Anyone in the know...know?
Islam teaches that Mary was Ever-Virgin (which many Protestants deny) and also that she was always sinless (which many Protestants deny) Muslims would not say they believe in the Immaculate Conception as we understand it, however. Islam denies the doctrine of original sin, and our definition of the Immaculate Conception builds off of that.
