Philippe
ya i know girls have this also but i was just focusing on how adults and the general people sterotype guys to being slaves of sex... i strongly oppose premarital sex and i state my point and everytime i say something about waiting till mariage i get laughed at and made fun of and i mean it doesnt stop me but its just sick that people expect you to have sex with 50 girls... for example i was talkin to someone about our retreat then someone overheard and there like wat r u talkin about and i said our retreat and the first thing they said was "are there any hot girls there" and i got pretty mad" Forgive me but i guess i see where the stereotypes come from but i dont think that it is a justified one

It's a stereotype that all teens are sex crazy and out there sleeping around... but sadly, a lot of them are. I read the other day that 75% of teens lose their virginity before hs graduation. Is this true?? This is really sad. On the other hand, adults do a disservice to teens by assuming they all do it and not encouraging them to hold to a higher standard. I think many adults just gave up on the morality of teens. (probably because they don't hold themselves to a moral standard either) It's a sad world... Phatmass teens are my "heroes." Matty_boy
Just because our parents' generation was obsessed with getting it wherever they could doesn't mean our generation is. Thanks for the sexual revolution you shallow and celf centered hippies. I hope we leave a better world for our kids. You could go to the principle about that comment. Nothing may happen, but then again it might send a red flag up. Who knows.
Pio Nono
JMJ 4/20 - Second Tuesday of Easter There's this great story about Pope John XXIII. While he was still archbishop of Paris, he went out to eat at a little bistro of some sort in the middle of the day when this extremely gorgeous and scantily-clad woman sat down at the table next to his. He took the apple he was about to eat and held it out to her, saying, "Would you like an apple?" She politely declined, to which he responded, "No, please, eat the apple; only AFTER she ate the apple did Eve realize just how little she was wearing." hopeful1
I have to admit that I used to think that all teens (especially guys) are like that. (hanging out here certainly opened my eyes!) Things have changed a lot since when I was a teenager. When I was a teen, sex was acceptable, but not expected. And no one would get away with dressing like that at school. Now, I think sex is almost expected. And modesty is just not what it used to be. (and I'm not that old!) That's a lot of temptations that you all are subjected to. I really admire your desire to avoid sin and stay pure. That's really great. I pray for you guys... My kids will be teens someday... I just wonder what the world will be like then!!!
which reminds me, I'm SCARED TO DEATH about what my kids are going to be like!
