Creeds

in many of our prayers we use the Apostles creed. my question is three fold. are there any prayers taht use the Nicean creed? why do we use the Apostels creed and not teh Nicean creed? lastly, i know the Nicean creed and not the shorter Apostles creed. and thought i love both, i like teh Nicean one because it seems to be more indepth (though they both express the same faith even if in fewer words.) is it ok if i use the Nicean creed in place of the Apostels creed in such thigs as the rosary or divine mercy? thank you!

These things are legislated. People tend to use the Apostles' Creed for devotions because they can't remember the Nicene one. If you can remember the Nicene Creed, well and good. Use that instead, because it contains all of the Apostles' Creed (more or less), and then some! God bless you!
