Guest Proud Catholic Knight Posted December 2, 2010 Share Posted December 2, 2010 As I grow in my faith, I feel myself being called to fast on obligatory days set forth by the Church. However, I have yet to find anything that spells out exactly what a "day" is in regards to fasting. Does the "day" run from midnight to midnight? Or from dawn to sunset as in the Muslim world (thought I could be wrong about that)? Or from sunset to sunset as in the jewish tradition (could be wrong about THAT too)? I'm new to the Church and the concept of fasting, so I want to make sure I'm following the Church's rules and guidelines. Thank you and God Bless!
