ardillacid
What is the Catholic definition of drunk? Is it a specific BAC? 0.08 is legally drunk but I don't even have a buzz after 4 drinks
Theoketos
The short and answer is we are drunk when we consume too much alcohol. Long answer starts now: Too much is signified with the loss of our reason. In other words when a person's intellect is obscured to a point where they cannot know (fully) what is right an what is wrong. Its a little complicated because the amount any particular individual can consume with out being drunk is different for a large number of reason. Additionally for some a BAC of .08 would not be drunkenness for others it might be due to their constitution.
