Ed Normile
My wife is in the hospital with pneumonia and a gall bladder infection with two large stones blocking the duct. I trust that God will keep her safe and heal her but I would appreciate if some of you would add a prayer for my wife with the prayers of our family that she recovers soon and fully. She is in terrible pain from the infection and the gall stones, plus she also has had a severe migrane since saturday night that will not relent, the docs say its because of the fever and infection, and they can not treat the gall stone condition until they clear up the pneumonia. She is 44 years old and this is really her first sickness so we have been blessed with her good health, I feel so helpless watching her suffer, and as always things like this happen when life is dealing us problems such as bills way over due because of slow work for me. I know there are far worse things out there and I am sorry for burdening you guys with something that may seem trivial to those who suffer worse, but at least it has made me feel better to share it with people I feel are good people. Thank you. ed
rhetoricfemme
It's by no means trivial, and I will happily be praying for the things you've mentioned here. I really hope your wife starts feeling better soon!

Ed Normile
I thank you all for your prayers, I told my wife today I asked everyone at Phatmass to pray for her and she was grateful. She is not doing much better, the migranes which are supposed to be caused by the infection in her gall bladder and the pneumonia will not relent, I have yet to see the doctor, he comes in and is gone within minutes, the nurses are a blessing they do all the care giving. I am so worried, I have nothing to offer God in exchange for my wifes health, I would gladly change places with her if only I could. I know she is in God's hands, I am worrier by nature, my wife says there is a reason for this and something good will come from it, thats her in a nutshell , she always sees the good in things, and in people, I guess I am lucky she seen the good in me, I miss her in my home, I miss her snoring, I will never complain again about it. TradMom
+Praised be Jesus Christ! Your wife, family and you are in our prayers. My husband had a very serious gallbladder infection in October which required emergency surgery - it was a difficult and painful challenge, but he came through with flying colors. May your faith be strengthened by this test, and please make sure she has the Sacrament of the Sick! Many prayers your way.... let_go_let_God
I agree with TradMom. If she can receive Anointing of the Sick, that would be a great blessing. You have my prayers as well. Even if you feel you have nothing to offer God, offer Him your nothingness. God always knows where you are at. Even with a small offering as, "Lord you know I have nothing I can give for my wife, but please take all that I am, for her." can be very profound. Intercession means to stand in the gap for someone. I hope all continues to go well for you and your wife. God bless- LGLG
