Klaudi87
If you are having difficulty, remember layering! Camis and stockings don't fix everything, but they can help. And a shrug or bolero can cover up shoulders if the straps of a dress are too skimpy. Like so: Belk - dress + bolero for under $60
Depending on the dress, another way to cover up the shoulders is to wear a nice shirt under. LaPetiteSoeur
I have seriously thought about dressing like that. I figure my Christian/non-Jewish/Non-Muslim friends would look at me weird.
My Catholic friend frequently tells me I look like a Hasidic Jew or a nun. It's because I layer like crazy and wear long-ish skirts most of the time.

I find it absolutely ridiculous that people hate on Muslim women for covering yet when a Catholic nun covers it is considered Holy and beautiful. What's the difference? There is none. Ed Normile
Personally I would never wear a modest dress ! Then again I would never wear an immodest dres either, something about changing 50 years of wearing mens clothing , call it a habit I am in, besides old fat guys in dresses, whew. ed

Piccoli Fiori JMJ
Actually, I really like the selection at JCPenney. The dresses are stylish and many and very modest (although I usually go for dresses that hit at the knee because I am short!). I would just suggest avoiding most of the Junior's section and you can find some very nice and modest items. (I love their Worthington cardigans as well!)
